Whole Washington Announces the Filing and Signature Gathering for (Universal Healthcare)

Whole Washington, a grassroots group dedicated to getting Universal Healthcare passed in the state of Washington, filed an Initiative to the Legislature on March 23rd, 2022. The bill would create The Washington Health Trust, guaranteeing high-quality and comprehensive benefits that include vision, dental, audiology, mental health services, prescription drug coverage and more. No co-pays, no deductibles, no premiums, no provider networks. This comprehensive system will be the first state-wide, publicly funded, non-profit health care trust in the country.

We have the power here in Washington to simply vote for the healthcare system that we want — one that is cheaper, simpler, and that always covers us no matter what’s going on with our jobs.
